Accounting / Finance Manager – MedTech (Diagnostics Solutions)

Role Overview

Virgil HealthCare Platforms Pvt. Ltd. is a MedTech company building high-speed diagnostic solutions for global markets. We are seeking an experienced Accounting / Finance Manager with strong exposure to the diagnostic solutions / medical devices ecosystem to manage finance operations, statutory compliance, and investor-grade reporting.

This role is critical for supporting scale-up manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and private-placement / VC-backed growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. ⁠⁠Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations including:
  • Books of accounts (Tally / ERP)
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual closures
  • Prepare and review:
  • Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements
  • MIS reports for leadership and investors
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness at all times.

2. ⁠⁠⁠⁠MedTech Manufacturing Finance

  • Handle accounting for:
  • Diagnostic equipment BOMs
  • Inventory (raw material, WIP, finished goods)
  • Capital equipment and depreciation
  • Track manufacturing costs, variances, and margins
  • Support pricing and cost optimization initiatives.

3.⁠⁠ Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with:
  • Companies Act, 2013
  • GST, TDS, PF, ESI
  • Income Tax and statutory audits
  • Coordinate with:
  • Statutory auditors
  • Internal auditors
  • Tax consultants
  • Maintain proper documentation for regulatory and quality audits.

4. ⁠⁠Fund Raise & Investor Reporting

  • Support:
  • Private placement accounting
  • Share premium and securities premium accounting
  • PAS-3, valuation, and cap-table coordination
  • Prepare investor-ready reports:
  • Burn rate
  • Runway analysis
  • Budget vs actuals
  • Assist leadership during VC / strategic partner due diligence.

5.⁠⁠ Budgeting, Forecasting & Controls

  • Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
  • Monitor cash flows and working capital
  • Implement financial controls and approval matrices
  • Identify risks and recommend corrective actions.

6.⁠⁠ Vendor, Banking & Treasury Management

  • Manage vendor payments and reconciliations
  • Handle banking operations:
  • Fund utilization
  • Term loans / working capital (if applicable)
  • Maintain strong internal controls over cash and expenses.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
  • 7–12 years of experience in accounting / finance roles
  • Direct experience in:
  • MedTech / diagnostic solutions / medical devices
  • Manufacturing or regulated industries
  • Strong exposure to:
  • Statutory compliance
  • Audit processes
  • Investor reporting

Preferred

  • Experience in:
  • VC-backed or startup environments
  • ISO-regulated or FDA-aligned companies
  • Familiarity with:
  • Import/export accounting
  • Capital equipment procurement
