Role Overview

Virgil HealthCare Platforms Pvt. Ltd. is building globally compliant high-speed diagnostic solutions for regulated markets. We are seeking an experienced HR Resources Manager with strong exposure to the MedTech / diagnostic solutions ecosystem to build and scale a compliant, performance-driven workforce across R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, Sales & Marketing across all four regions and commercial operations.

This role is critical in aligning people strategy with regulatory discipline, manufacturing scale-up, and global market expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1.⁠⁠ Talent Acquisition – MedTech & Diagnostics Focus

  • Lead end-to-end hiring for:
  • Biomedical & electronics engineers
  • Diagnostic assay integration teams
  • Sales & Marketing Teams across all four regions
  • Manufacturing & production engineers
  • Quality, Regulatory Affairs (FDA, CE, ISO 13485)
  • Field service & technical support teams
  • Build hiring pipelines from:
  • MedTech companies, diagnostic labs, device OEMs
  • Engineering institutions and industry networks
  • Support private placement–driven scale hiring aligned with growth plans.

2.⁠⁠ HR Operations & Compliance

  • Establish and manage:
  • HR policies, SOPs, employee handbook
  • Attendance, payroll, statutory compliance
  • Ensure compliance with:
  • Indian labor laws
  • Factory Act (where applicable)
  • Shops & Establishments Act
  • Coordinate with finance and legal teams for audits and inspections.

3.⁠⁠ MedTech-Grade Performance & Culture

  • Design and implement:
  • KRAs & KPIs along with KSAs aligned to R&D, QA/QC, manufacturing milestones and Sales & Marketing growth targets
  • Performance appraisal frameworks suitable for regulated environments
  • Build a culture of:
  • Cohesive and team-oriented work culture
  • Documentation discipline
  • Quality mindset
  • Cross-functional collaboration (R&D ↔️ Manufacturing ↔️ QA ↔️ Regulatory)

4.⁠⁠ Learning, Training & Capability Building

  • Design and implement:

6. ⁠⁠ESOP & Startup HR Practices

  • Support ESOP policy rollout and communication
  • Maintain confidentiality and documentation for:
  • Founders& Top Leadership Team
  • Private placement investors
  • Build HR systems aligned with VC and audit expectations.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

  • 7–12 years of progressive HR experience
  • Direct experience in MedTech / diagnostic equipment / medical devices
  • Exposure to manufacturing + regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Quality-driven organizations
  • Regulatory-influenced workflows
  • Sales & Marketing activities

Preferred

  • Experience working with:
  • Diagnostic equipment manufacturers
  • Clinical labs or IVD device companies
  • ISO 13485 / FDA regulated setups
  • Prior experience in:
  • Startup or scale-up environments
  • Investor-backed companies
